Sundarakandam Parayanam - 101-135 , I Sargam

What is Dharma ? - A book by Dr. Ranganji - Read Preface.

Story -   Vibheeshana Sharanagathi.

--"Thapas" - "Thavasmi", We should surrender ourself to a person who has all the characteristics of Dharma.
--"Anukoolyasya Sankalpaha" -  We should live according to our Guru's wishes.  (Sharanyan's wishes)
--"Ramathe Ithi Ramaha" /  "Ramayathe Ithi Ramaha". We will definitely be in Shanthi/peace if we have this in mind. This is the "sharanagatha Lakshanam".
--I belong to "Shri Rama". That should be our ultimate thinking. Sharanagathi is not a work. It's is "Gyanam".
--If we start thinking that I belong to Rama, then ego has no work. It will vanish.
--Sugrivan and all his ministers had a negative opinion in making friendship with Vibheeshanan except Hanuman.
--Hanuman is a cultured minister and when he gets chance, he will speak. He wishes to make friendship with Vibheeshanan and he also explains his opinion further with supportive thoughts.
--At once, Lord Rama became very happy because he thought there is one person who wishes like him and also the Lord does not want to hurt others.
